Buildings Cover

We run a block policy to provide buildings insurance and public liability cover for our client’s properties. This enables us to obtain competitive quotes for cover, provide a streamlined and efficient claims handling procedure and allow flexibility over the payment of premiums. We ensure that the building cover in place is adequate and the risks covered are comprehensive. We also aim to keep up with developments in the industry to protect our client’s assets and obtain any benefits that are available.

Directors and Officers Cover

Freehold managment company directors and officers can be held personally liable for their decisions and actions whilst working on behalf of the leaseholders / freeholders even though most act as unpaid volunteers. We actively encourage purchasing directors and officers liability insurance to provide financial protection against civil liability charges relating to a “wrongful act”. These can include breach of trust and warranty, neglect, error, omission and misstatement.

Engineering cover

This provides cover for installed machinery most notably lifts. The cover includes breakdowns and also the cost of six monthly inspections under the LOLER Regulations 1998 by a competent person. These require a thorough examination of the lift and all its associated equipment by someone who is independent and impartial and has the necessary technical and practical knowledge.
